Founding & Lead Pastor, CPC

Founder & long-time facilitator of CPC's International Missions Program

Dean planted Cypress Point Church and has poured his life into raising up its people, its leaders, and its mission across the world. He launched CPC's International Missions Program and has been the steady, faithful hand behind nearly every trip we've ever taken — quiet about it, every time.

Jill Barber

Trip Lead

Overall trip direction, pastoral care, women's ministry

Jill leads the trip on the ground and shepherds the team before, during, and after. She carries the relational weight of the partnership with the Compassionate Hope Foundation and the Lao pastors' wives, many of whom return year after year specifically to be with her.

Logistics — Transportation & Accommodations

Team transport, hotels, ground operations

Rachid runs the in-country logistics so the rest of the team can focus on the work. Flights, hotels, vans, drivers, and the daily shared-cost pool — all of it goes through him.

Jacque Borneo

Conference Programming, Women's Ministry, Agriculture

Pastor-training conference flow, women's track, agricultural programming

Jacque shapes the rhythm of our largest equipping conference of the year and leads the women's track alongside Jill. This year she is also coordinating our agricultural programming, working with our Eco Farms partners on the ground.

Justin Denham

Admin & Business Programming

Candidate intake, app access, logistics, fundraising tracking, business training

Justin keeps the moving pieces moving. He is the first point of contact for new candidates, runs the candidate dashboard and document library, and works with the church accountant on every team member's mission account. On the ground he leads the business training track for the Lao pastors.

Alexi Katko

Construction Lead

Campus building projects, supply runs

Alexi leads the construction track. He plans projects with the school director ahead of time, sources materials, and leads the team on site through whatever the campus needs that week.

Hettie Reule

Children's Programming Lead

Classroom support, kids' programs, supplies

Hettie builds the daily plan for time with the children at the school: lessons, crafts, games, and presence. Coordinates donated supplies and helps each team member find a way to serve the kids well.

Youth Programming Lead

Teen programming, discipleship, mentorship

Emmy leads the teen track — meeting students where they are, building trust, and helping them see that the gospel speaks directly into the world they're stepping into.

Connie Visovsky & Scott Merritt

Medical Care & Education

Medical care for staff, students, and Lao pastors; health education

Connie and Scott lead the medical track. For some of the people we serve, our team is the first medical care they have ever received. They also teach practical health and care skills the Lao pastors can take home with them.

U.S. Mission Guidance

Compassionate Hope Foundation, partner relationships

Al provides the long-view guidance for our work with Compassionate Hope and the Village of Hope. He has been pouring into this region for decades and helps us keep our short-term work tied to the long-term vision of the indigenous church.

Every track of our work is run hand in hand with the Compassionate Hope Foundation of Thailand and the directors of the Lanna Christian School. Their staff is the reason our short weeks can do long-term work.
